Paige Taylor LPC, LMHC

About my practice
I work with high-achieving professionals, athletes, couples, college students, and recent college graduates struggling with burnout, perfectionism, loss of meaning, career transitions, people-pleasing, co-dependency, and addictions.
I currently practice remotely in New York State and Virginia, and am a certified psychedelic therapy provider, providing integration and facilitation.
You are not alone…
Whether you are struggling daily, are in a transition, or are wanting to deepen your personal awareness and insight, I offer a non-judgmental, empathetic space to work toward your goals.
If you’re feeling stuck in survival mode or autopilot, therapy can help give you the tools to turn pain into personal freedom, and live the life you were meant to be living.
I believe we all have the capacity to create long-lasting change and live with a deep emotional peace and freedom. An important first step can simply be listening to and understanding what your pain is saying, along with making consistent time and space to re-connect to what feels important to you.
I believe the following can help us create a more free, peaceful and joyful existence:
Identifying our unique patterns of pain and/or challenge;
Understanding what makes changing these patterns or ways of being feel difficult or inaccessible;
Developing a tangible, accessible plan of action, and;
Integrating those consistent, thoughtful actions on a daily basis can transform parts of ourselves and our lives that once felt excruciating, immovable or burdensome.
My style combines psychodynamic, IFS, existential, and behavioral therapy, along with humor, levity and a down-to-earth feel. I prioritize cultural humility both in my therapy practice and as a person, and I work from a multicultural standpoint. I work with folks experiencing a range of concerns including perfectionism, burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, career stress, parenting, fertility, life transitions, addictions, self-esteem issues, OCD, eating disorders and relationship challenges.
Wherever you are in life, you are deserving of compassionate support. Making and sustaining healing life changes can feel overwhelming, you don't have to be alone in your journey. I'm here to offer support and thoughtful guidance as you take steps toward personal freedom.
As Rumi says, “the wound is the place where the Light enters you."
